Performance Livestock Analytics (PLA) is seeking Content Specialist to join our team. The content specialist will be crafting compelling social media and website content designed to resonate with cattle producers. This role is also responsible for optimizing content for digital ads, website and email to help drive qualified leads to the sales team and build customer advocates. The role touches all facets of the marketing plan, from strategy to execution. We have a small but mighty marketing team and are looking for someone who’s scrappy and willing to jump in to do meaningful work right away.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for social media presence, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat and ambassador program.
- Develop engaging educational and testimonial content to nurture prospects with SEO in mind.
- Write a range of ad copy and help with digital advertising with media partners and Google Ads.
- Establish and maintain monthly customer newsletter and prospect email campaigns.
- Work closely with sales and customer success teams to better understand our audience and create more relevant, successful campaigns.
- Maintain media relationships and identify earned media opportunities.
- Review analytics and apply to existing and future campaigns. Perform A/B tests to explore new digital tactics.
- Manage marketing projects, timelines and budget alongside coworkers and freelancer partners.
- Effectively use Hubspot CRM for marketing activities.
- Build advocates among existing customer base through surprise and delight tactics.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- 1-2 years of marketing experience (including college internships)
- Enjoys crafting content from social media to testimonials to digital ads and video scripts
- Self-motivated, eager to learn and try new things and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Cattle experience and agriculture background desired
- Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM is a bonus
